It’s raining where I live today, something that almost NEVER happens. I’m staying home with Darling Baby who I suspect is trying to pop some molars. When he’s teething I give him bigger hunks of food like half an apple instead of apple slices. I refrigerate it and then just let him gnaw away. We’re running low on quick breakfast and lunch things, so I’m going to try to do a little batch cooking today and fill the freezer. Right now I have a pound of bacon in the oven so my whole house smells like BACON!!!
Here’s what I threw together for Darling Baby’s lunch :
- A Coconut Flour Pumpkin Spice Muffin (Recipe Here)
- A Carob-Date Truffle (Recipe Here, mini-muffin cups available Here)
- Cubes of Gouda on a Skewer (Find Skewers Here)
- A hard-boiled egg (If you want to make your eggs fun, here’s how)
- Half an apple dusted with cinnamon (buy quality cinnamon Here)
