October is here, the holidays are right around the corner, and we all want to look our best and have lots of energy for that busy time. That’s why I’ve decided to finally bite the bullet and do a Whole 30.

What is a Whole 30 you ask?

According to Dallas and Melissa Hartwig who created it,  Whole 30 is a short term nutritional reset. For 30 days you cut out all the foods that have potential to make you feel tired, grumpy, have unexplained aches and pains, or even give you acne!

I figure, if I start today, I’ll be done on Halloween and hopefully won’t want to indulge in anything too unhealthy.

I unofficially started a week ago, and I can tell you that you won’t be hungry. You will probably have horrible cravings, but they will go away. You’ll be eating very tasty food that you can buy anywhere (I shopped at Grocery Outlet this week).
